Dashboard
After launching ATI Academy you can see how many courses you have “to do,” “in progress,” “overdue” or “completed” at a quick glance. You can also check out the calendar of events.
Calendar
Here you can view upcoming live sessions and use the color-coded icons to tell if you’re registered.
Course Library
The course library allows you to browse all courses and learning paths available to you. Notice that the thumbnail image for each course signifies the category in which the course falls. This should help you quickly determine what type of content the course will cover.
Learning Paths
When in the course library you might notice some courses tagged with a label “Learning Path.” A learning path is a series of sub-courses that complement one another, focusing on a single topic. Entering a learning path allows you to participate in these sub-courses in a guided sequence or to navigate to sub-courses independently.
Popular Categories
Using the left panel and navigating to the second icon down, you can access the course library. At the top of the page you have three tabs. Clicking “Popular categories” allows you to view courses by category. Click a category to explore all available courses within that category.
Search
Within your course library, no matter which tab you’re in, a magnifying glass with an open search field to the right appears at the top of the page. Type any topic or key word, such as “active learning” in this field and click the magnifying glass to populate all courses relevant to this topic.
Achievements
Achievements can be viewed in the dashboard or by clicking the trophy icon on the left hand side navigation panel. This is where you can track and download course completion certificates, including nursing continuing professional development certificates, as well as collect badges and points.
Live Sessions
The fourth icon down on the navigation bar to the left allows you to explore live sessions. You can view all available sessions as well as check which ones you’re registered for or have previously attended. In the top right you will see a search bar where you can also search for a specific course.
Messaging
Messaging allows you to send and receive messages with ATI as well as with other faculty. Messages can be sent between individuals among groups.
Automated Course Guidance
This feature leads you from one step to the next within a course or from one sub-course to the next within a learning path.
